So, don’t hate me, but when you get up at 2:00am you can get pretty fancy with your Monday morning breakfasts…
French toast fancy.
Whole wheat French toast with chopped pecans and walnuts fancy.
And why stop there when you can load them with an orange fig spread?
And a few daubs of brie?
And fresh sliced strawberries?
Suffice it to say, today’s breakfast was epic.
Unfortunately, my creative genius hadn’t reached its full potential until PIC had already left for work with his plain French toast packed in our new Pirex with a sad little bottle of Cracker Barrel syrup…
But there are plenty of leftovers for tomorrow morning.
