Writing left handed

Blogging on a Bridge

I am (and have been for two hours now) stuck on the Walt Whitman Bridge due to ice and snow and salt and plows. The only problem, aside from that whole being suspended over a river thing, is that I am getting hungry. Very hungry. In fact I am starting to wonder which body part to gnaw on first?

Legs are rather convenient– indeed necessary if one is to run a tap company– but I can’t really imagine going through life without arms. I would miss being left handed…

All the cool kids are left handed. We’re the best.

If you’re still stuck on the bridge, why not resort to writing some Whitman-esque verse?

Errr… poetry isn’t really my thing. It was– when I was 17 and lovesick all the time– but I stumbled upon some of it a while back and thought to myself, “Well, you can’t be good at everything, now can you?” The world is safer without my poetry 🙂

Egad, she *did* eat herself up on that bridge! There’s nothing left!
