Hurricane Sandy = One Hot Date

With Hurricane Sandy threatening to wallop the majority of the Eastern Seaboard, most sensible folks are out loading up on bottled water and extra batteries for their flashlights. I, on the other hand, am scheming for an entire two days with The Wedding Date.
We’ve decided to weather the storm together and he’s assembled a rather fabulous emergency kit of our own: broccoli cheddar soup, popcorn and chocolate chip cookies.
Fortunately, I just finished editing a piece called 10 Great Rainy Day Date Ideas for HotDateIdeas.com so we won’t be stuck just eating popcorn and cookies for the next 48 hours.
If you’re searching from some storm-friendly fun, take a look! (Unless of course you’d like to spend the next 48 hours eating popcorn and cookies; then don’t let me stop you).
Happy puddle-jumping and stay safe, folks!

OMG. You forgot the essentials for a hurricane. You must be sure to have liquids. We made sure that after we were responsible parents and stocked up on batteries and water that we got wine to last for days!! Be safe and enjoy the closeness of the bad weather.
Oh don’t you worry– we have a fully stocked wine cellar (by which I mean several cases of Traders Joes Two Buck Chuck stacked in the garage) 🙂
Less of a “hot” date, more of a wet and windy” one. Hope your garage didn’t get flooded. All that two buck chuck going to waste.
