The View from the Top

It has been brought to my attention that I missed yesterday’s post.  Whoops!  Here’s a quick hint as to what I’ve been up to:

Hiking in Holmdel Park

More on that tomorrow 🙂

Coincidentally, sometimes missing a day’s post is a good sign. Looks like it could be, in this case.

you can take a day off every now and then, please try not to make a habit of it though.

I’m in a moral quandary: happy because you’re busily enjoying a view and the Wedding Date’s Company or sad because I’m imaptient with anticipation?
I have no idea what’s going to happen when this Great Date Experiment is over: I suppose you’ll start a Wedding Planning Blog. Not one of the smug ones though, please. 🙂

You went hiking in Holmdel Park? Very cool! I was wondering where in central Jersey you were going … did you go by Holmes Hendrickson (as in at least pass by)? I always make a point of driving by the houses whenever I’m visiting NJ … it’s like taking a mental inventory 🙂

We did! I actually used to volunteer for the historical association that owns the Holmes Hendrickson House and we drove right by it. We actually stopped right in front because we got a bit turned around following the directions of The Wedding Date’s GPS and I said, “Wait! Stop the car! I know this house!”

Yes, dearest … we spent a *lot* of time at those houses 🙂 (but probably the MOST at Allen House) I sent “little” Katie one of the pictures from Wool Days the year the two of you were spinning … she’s got a 2-year old of her own now, odd as that may sound … anyway, about HHH, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the house being that spanish red rather than the pumpkin color. Is the picture at the top the sledding hill that goes up toward Holmdel Road and Bellevue? I used to live right at the top of that sledding hill (before I moved to Spring Lake Heights and got married)

Jeez– duh! I didn’t recognize your screenname when I was replying to that last one, lol! I was sitting there thinking, “Wow, small world… someone who knows MCHA and the HHH!” Clearly someone over here needs to get some sleep 🙂 And WOW- Katie has a kid? Time sure does fly!
